How we calculate
- Energy needed = battery size × charge difference ÷ charging efficiency
- Charging time = grid energy needed ÷ charger power
- The optimizer tries to fit charging into the cheap tariff window where possible
- If not enough time is available, it recommends charging as soon as possible
